Yesterday we had the pleasure of partnering with Foresight Group to deliver our latest Women of Impact event, focusing on Actionable Steps Towards Equity and Inclusivity. Our attendees had the pleasure of listening to Suzie Ruffley, Managing Director and Global Head of People & Sustainable Culture at Foresight Group, who delivered an insightful and informative talk about their own women's leadership group, Elevate. The session covered a deep dive into systematic barriers that many women face when looking to progress in their careers and how Elevate aims to help women overcome this and reach their full potential. For more info on our Women of Impact events, reach out to Amy Morris - Managing Director - UK at Oakleaf Partnership. #womenofimpact #equity #inclusivity #leadership

This morning, my colleague Tina Slocum and I hosted a breakfast roundtable in our New York offices with talent leaders from across the Industrial, Healthcare & Life Sciences sectors. We had a great discussion! We spoke some of the challenges we’re all facing around how to attract top talent, shared advice on ATS implementations, innovative approaches to employee branding and how to bring internal stakeholders along during periods of change. After nearly 10 years in HR search, I still enjoy learning how organizations are driving their people agendas. A big thank you to all who attended – maybe a happy hour next time?!?! Lastly, Tina and I are planning similar networking events for our customers in New Jersey and Connecticut. If any of my network outside NYC would like to attend, please reach out! As many of you know, I work for Oakleaf Partnership supporting our clients with senior hires in sectors that we group as "Industry and Science". But what do we mean by Industry and Science? 🤷♂️ I affectionally describe the "Industry and Science" sector as everything "big, heavy and gets you dirty" plus hospitals and healthcare. I am not the only person supporting our clients in these sectors. Here at Oakleaf Partnership we work collaboratively as a team 💪 supporting our clients and candidates, or as we like to call you, our customers 🙌 . I thought it worthwhile introducing the team 😁. We all support our I&S customers across UK and Europe, from your generalist HR roles through to specialist HR roles, as well as tech roles and everything in between, on a perm and interim basis. Please reach out to the team for more information.
