A note on ‘Modified proof of Caristi’s fixed point theorem on partial metric spaces’. (English) Zbl 1490.54038
Summary: In this note, we emphasize that the proofs and statements of the main results of the paper [C. Klin-Eam, J. Inequal. Appl. 2013, Paper No. 210, 8 p. (2013; Zbl 1452.54031)] do not have any utility to use the partial metric. Hence, it has no contribution to either partial metric theory or Caristi-type fixed point problems.
