Nonconstant equilibrium solutions for a model of pattern formation on shells of molluscs. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 0964.92501

Summary: A mathematical model proposed by H. Meinhardt and M. Klingler is studied. This model consists of a system of coupled parabolic partial differential equations. The existence of nonconstant equilibria solutions and the stability of constant equilibria solutions are discussed.
