A class of Arens algebras is considered. For the first time a notion of noncommutative Arens algebras is introduced and it is shown that these algebras are \(*\)-isomorphic to \(EW^\#\)-algebras. Besides, for commutative von Neumann algebras the appropriate Arens algebras are investigated. By giving an example it is proved that in case when commutative von Neumann algebras are atomic ones then appropriate Arens algebras are not isomorphic.
