The book presents two important, contemporary paradigms – those of optimal search and foraging – with the aim to build a bridging framework, where the models and algorithms can be used interchangeably. It sequentially addresses individual search and foraging followed by multiple agents’ behavior and swarm dynamics, while, on the applicative side, it offers many examples for the presented theories.
