Identities for complete homogeneous symmetric polynomials. (English) Zbl 1259.05185
The author uses elementary methods to prove two classical identities concerning a representation of the complete homogeneous symmetric function via rational functions. The paper uses only the \(S\)-root basis for the polynomial ring over an integral domain and some matrix calculations to achieve these results.
