De-Moivre’s formula for matrices of quaternions. (English) Zbl 1218.30134
Summary: The Euler formula and the De-Moivre formula for the matrices associated with quaternions are studied. It is shown that the De-Moivre formula implies that there are uncountably many matrices of unit quaternions satisfying \(A^n=I_4\) for \(n\geq 3\).
