The paper is a survey on special geometric structures that admit conformal Killing spinors (conformally flat manifolds have the maximum number of degree of conformal symmetry measured by conformal Killing fields). The author discusses the case of Lorentzian signature and explains which geometries occur up to dimension 6. This survey may be interesting for physicists working in string theory.
