Many recent results concerning whether a Banach space \(X\) would contain an isomorph of some \(l_p\) or \(c_0\) are given. Topics include: Ramsey theory, Looking for \(l_p\), and Gowers’s dichotomy theorem. A special feature are the open problems and references.
