Projections onto gradient fields and \(L^ p\)-estimates for degenerated elliptic operators. (English) Zbl 0552.35034
Für \(f\in L^ m({\mathbb{R}}^ n,{\mathbb{R}}^ n)\) sei \(P_ mf\) die Projektion auf den Unterraum der Funktionen, die im schwachen Sinne als Gradient darstellbar sind. Verf. beweist die nützliche Ungleichung \(\| P_ mf\|_ p\leq A_ p\| f\|_ p\), \(p\geq m\). Anwendungen auf partielle Differentialgleichungen und quasikonforme Abbildungen werden gegeben.
