💡 A bright idea: When you see these lights guiding planes in and out of DEN, you're likely looking at energy-saving LEDs. Since 2015, we've been on a mission to convert over 26,0000 airfield lights to LEDs, and we're at approximately 90% completion! It's all part of our goal to be one of the greenest airports in the world - that's Vision 100. Learn more at flydenver.com/vision100.

From runways to the ramp tower and concessions to the currency exchange, DEN has a variety of open roles we're looking to fill. You might even say we're in our Oprah Era - except with jobs instead of cars. 😉 Claim yours at flydenver.com/jobs.

Never forget. This piece of twisted steel serves as a somber reminder of the 2,996 lives lost in the 9/11 attack - including 412 first responders. It was recovered from the World Trade Center and is located at our Fire House 35 on 75th Ave. A 9/11 commemoration ceremony and moment of silence will take place in the Terminal today at 6:46 a.m. and 3 p.m. MST.

When we’re not working on our secret underground lair, we're hard at work below the surface on something even more important. 🚧 Introducing the West Gates Pond Expansion project: A major upgrade to our aircraft deicing fluid collection system, allowing us to handle winter weather smoothly and sustainably. This includes adding new storage ponds and deicing pads and improving management of storm water and deicing fluid. The latest milestone? The newly finished 2,050-foot by 11-foot diameter tunnel — the largest and longest of the project! Running beneath Runway 16L-34R and surrounding taxiways, the project contains six tunnels of various sizes, totaling 5,179 feet. Winter is coming, and we’re ready.

Finn might be from the Mile High City, but the Big House has been on his mind. During his leukemia treatment, watching sports was a favorite pastime, and Michigan football games were never missed. Recently, the Dream On 3 nonprofit made his football wish come true, and our DEN CATS therapy team was there to send him off with love. 🐾💜 Congrats, Finn! We’ll excuse the Colorado oversight this time. Maybe Coach Prime can make another dream day happen – what do you think, University of Colorado Boulder? 😉
