angielski What a show! I really savored every moment of Oshi no Ko Season 2 and honestly, I can't find a single thing to criticize. The show continues to dive deep into the complexities of showbiz, giving us a thorough and multi-layered perspective on the entertainment industry from several angles. Everything is explained so clearly that you find yourself understanding every side, every conflict. I particularly enjoyed the first half focused on writing the script, which was so well executed and had an ideal, though rare, showbiz ending (one that many don’t get in real life). I loved the mangaka who refused to compromise, but I also rooted for the screenwriter and his vision. It’s rare to find a show that fleshes out even its side characters, some of whom we might never see again, but here it’s done in a way that helps you grasp the bigger picture—and it’s absolutely brilliant for someone who wants to fully understand what they're watching. I didn't expect to care about a character like Melt, especially after the first season, but this season made me interested in him, and it all fit beautifully into the larger narrative, including the theater performance itself. That leads me to the second half, which, in terms of storytelling style and technique, was something fresh and mesmerizing. The way they built the theater scenes, making you feel like you were a part of the audience, watching not only the performance but also the personal stories of the actors and their relationships, was nothing short of delightful. The seamless weaving of these two layers was simply amazing. Doga Kobo delivered an artistic spectacle with their use of vibrant colors, shifting filters, and varied animation techniques. It was truly stunning! This season also made me fully appreciate Akane. After Season 1, I was firmly in the Kana camp and didn’t give anyone else a chance, but Akane really shone this time. She was a solid support to the protagonist, took center stage, and I totally get why people would root for her. That said, I’m still loyal to Kana, and every time she was on screen, I was thoroughly entertained. The only question I still have is whether Mem-cho will get her moment to truly shine. She has so much more potential than just being a support or comic relief! But enough about choosing best girls or romantic ships (I’m definitely too old for that)—the final third of the season was for all the drama and mystery lovers. And it delivered. Big twists and reveals? Absolutely. Some questions were answered, while new ones emerged (SPOILER: I finally got confirmation about the twins' father, but now I’m puzzled about the "raven girl"... END OF SPOILER). The twins swapped the spark in their eyes, and it all makes sense. I’m predicting that the next season will bring Ruby into the spotlight, and I’m really curious to see how that plays out. All in all, this season had everything. I loved every part of it, and there was enough material here for three separate shows. So, if you made it this far and you’re expecting anything less than a 10/10, you might need to work on your reading comprehension, and this show might not be for you after all! () (mniej) (więcej)
