Aftermath

If we accept the idea that behind the walls there can be not only pipes, electrical wiring, rats, cockroaches, and victims of drug cartels, we have a list of films that are arranged chronologically and qualitatively in descending order like this: The Pact, Housebound, Within, Aftermath. The last one, featuring Gollum as the architect's husband, is not technically bad, but adding more and more minutes beyond the hour and a half limit in this genre is, with rare exceptions, counterproductive. Regarding the switching between the goofy kid and the psychopath, Ashmore has clearly bought a license from Tim Robbins. (29/09/2021)
