Two jerks meet on the road, lose their tempers, and go after each other in a pretty brutal way that spans ten episodes. Beef is touted as one of Netflix's most interesting offerings in recent months, and I have to say, it has some really great moments. The episode endings are particularly well done. Overall, though, it’s a rather odd drama that tries to be both sarcastically funny and deeply dramatic, but doesn’t fully succeed at either. Still, it has its charm, mainly because it's backed by the intriguing production company A24. ()
