Based on the reviews, I was expecting a hooligans mêlée and one battle after another, and considering the fact that it's Russia, I was expecting twice as much. But Kicking Off is the exact opposite and relies more on the story around the central gang than the hooligans skirmishing in the woods, and it’s surprisingly quite entertaining and iconic, so I have no problem with it. However, when I rewatch that fight, which should be the main asset of films like this, I want to laugh at how incredibly second-rate, boring and awkward it's portrayed, there are almost no shots, no blood, nothing. Story 3/5, but the rest is not worth talking about. Total rubbish. ()
