Emily is 16 years old when she meets Maciek - a handsome alpha male seven years her senior. Maciek is an unfulfilled musician and an employee of a pharmaceutical company. There is an outbreak of violent passion between them. Maciek introduces her not only to the world of erotic initiation, but also true emotions and feelings. The older man continuously impresses Emilia, who was brought up without a father. However, idyllic love slowly turns into a toxic relationship destroying both sides. Emilia's acceptance to college is a turning point in the relationship. It is then when she starts becoming independent, that she notices other fascinating worlds and other men. Maciek and Emily begin to act destructively toward each other. They cannot be together nor live without each other. (Zlín Film Festival)

One of the greatest movie experiences in recent weeks, maybe months. Masterfully crafted story of great, all-consuming love with all its beauty and tragedy. The debut director has woven a whip for herself, because there have been countless stories about love written and filmed in every possible way, however her depiction of the story in two timelines, in addition with a criminal subplot, which keeps the viewer in suspense until the thrilling finale, literally blew me away and also thanks to the central song for me Big Love represents an unforgettable piece of cinema, which to my great surprise did not receive such a great success in Poland. In conclusion, I would also like to praise the excellent performances of both main actors. Seen on my holiday with my girlfriend at Hotel Polonia in Warsaw, making watching this movie also a nice gift for me.
