Over 70% of business leaders expect AI to change, or replace, some roles and 84% expect the creation of new roles such as AI transformation, AI tools trainer, AI innovation manager - rising to 89% in the technology sector and 86% in life sciences and pharma. 62% of healthcare professionals are enthused about using AI to improve productivity and efficiency. This is mirrored by the technology and built environment sectors. Enhancing customer experience is also rated a key opportunity for AI, particularly for transport and mobility. AI could be a key tool to alleviate pressure on the global healthcare sector by facilitating early and accurate diagnosis, helping to treat patients more effectively and reducing workload by automating some tasks. However, only 60% of healthcare leaders say their organization is investing in AI, compared to an average of 80%.
