Compsognathus (/kɒmpˈsɒɡnəθəs/;[1] Greek kompsos/κομψός; "elegant", "refined" or "dainty", an gnathos/γνάθος; "jaw")[2] is a genus o smaa, bipedal, carnivorous theropod dinosaurs. Members o its single species Compsognathus longipes could grow tae the size o a bubbly-jock.
