I cannot tell you how happy I was seeing that it stated dysphoria was not experienced by all trans people. Always made me feel like a fake whenever I saw someone say you needed severe dysphoria to be "trans enough"
This game confused me a lot... But also helped me a lot...
after playing, I am proud to announce myself as transfem genderfluid and dyadic, and i would love to pass as a girl!
and my preferred pronouns are, and have always been (lookin at you, family) They and Them
also, could someone tell me how "one" works as a pronoun, because i really like the sound of it, but "i just adore one" soundin kinda off to me
i am so happy right now.. they got the definition of nonbinary right!!! like thats me!!!! only one thing: i'm pretty sure the most widely used term for the opposite of intersex is perisex, at least now. the 3d stuff made me feel sick but i didnt really care because i love this game.

This has been a lovely game to walk around and explore! When playing on a mac browser, some of the colors will frequently glitch out when moving and create some flash like effects. Is that just a browser issue or a larger bug?

Explain to me, how can this bullshit, tell you what gender you are. Following the logic of this game, if im curious, then im apperentaly transgender? Even tho im clearly a male. Yea nah no way people believe this bullshit lol
I'm not sure where you got the idea, that the game tells you what your gender is? The game explores a set of terms and identities and poses a set of questions that can help people explore their own identity. It doesnt "tell you what gender your are".

You clearly haven’t played a game with a good enough story if you’re asking that question.
Exploration of any sort begins with questions, and is facilitated by the information and language we learn or develop along the way to both describe our findings and understand them better. This game offers questions to get us thinking about our personal understanding of our own identities, and provides that language and information to help us through that exploration (in a cool maze room format!)
it informs people one the different forms of identity and expression they can take, it provides labels to those seeking them out. for someone like me, who had been questioning their gender identity for a very long time, it's like having a light shone on a different aspect of myself in each room, and through that I put together a gender that suits me, and can tell others a little more about me in a way that isn't awkward and stilted.
As someone who have trouble on figuring out what I am, this game brought me to tears. I've lost myself trying to fit in ever since I started high school and it really fucked me up but this game help me realized what I am. This game will forever have a place in my heart, thank you for making this game.

I really loved this, I especially love that in the beginning if you kept following the arrow you'd always end back at cis. It's only until after you stop following the arrow that you find the other identities and to me that's very meaningful. It feels like society pushes you to be cis and it doesn't straight out tell you that there are more options, you kind of have to discover that for yourself and that's what this game is about.
Just a little question, is there no room for masc? i couldn't find it i'm transmasc and really tried

we've gotten this question quite a few times. When creating the game we wanted to make it clear that the list of terms we presented was in no way exhaustive. One way of doing that was to leave out some terms that would have been good fits and masc ended up being one of those left out.
However given the amount of people that have been looking for a masc room and were curious what it would look like, we would probably include it if we ever went back and added further rooms. Its absence is in no way ment as an invalidation of masc identities.
I hope you add it, it feels so invalidating as a trans guy that there is only a fem room and not masc. Either put in both or leave out both. Trans Men are just as valid as trans women
i have to agree, it feels a bit odd not seeing it. i love this game, it's a great experience to walk through. but it's a missing term, especially since the other rooms mention the masculine identities, and then it's nowhere to be seen. i fully understand not wanting to make an infinite-spanning game as the spectrum of gender is so vast, but c'mon. especially since there were multiple instances where you had similar or connected terms (like the stairs to connect two spirits and hijra, or all the pronouns in the same room), it just comes off a bit misinformed, or transphobic to trans-masc people. i saw that in a previous comment, you said you decided to leave out trans men/masc since it's more widely known, but that's an assumption, for one. and one could argue multiple identities are well known so it seems like there is a sense of bias or selective inclusion here. so to a large amount of users, it just looks like you removed one, and that's it. im not in any way trying to attack you, this is a wonderful tool and source, and it's beautifully made. and i have to commend you for making it at all. and i understand you may not have access or the ability to go in and add more things. Still, i hope you see the error and can at least put a respectful disclaimer or something for future viewers, noting how many comments i see asking about it already. im not at all calling you transphobic. i just hope you understand why so many people see the issue.
The problem isn't that not everything is there. The problem is that only fem is there. There is even genderfluid but literally no masc. I feel invalidated enough already as a trans guy its not that hard to include masc if you include fem
It's so rare to play games where one really feels seen, but this really made me feel that and it brought me to tears as it often does. I really liked this experience and the level design was fun and I enjoyed exploring the space. Super nice job. Thank you for this <3

Somehow inverting the camera for the mouse didn't work, so it was exhausting to play. I like the whole setting and I would certainly have invested a bit more time if the controls had been right. In addition, I often get lost in games, so a little (activatable) help might be handy. All in all, I like it a lot.
Thanks for headsup regarding the inverted controls. I will look into what causes that and try and include a fix in the next patch =)

this was so lovely! noneuclidian spaces are a really clever way to explore how expansive and complex gender can be, and i also liked how you included information about each respective term. i also really liked the pronoun room, it was really fun to try some new ones. great work! ^^
I love the somewhat non-euclidean exploration here, though I feel like there could be a lot more done with it. Also there is a fem room but no masc room, which feels wrong to me. Trans men tend to get ignored in media, and this game not having a masc room makes it feel like it's intentionally ignoring them. I'd have also loved a gnc room, or some room that talks about presentation as being separate from identity in a way that isn't drag since drag is sort of like an art form

Your observation regarding the lack of a masc room do make a fair point. At the time we felt that leaving out some of the terms people would immediately think of would make it clear that the list of terms covered in the game are necessarily incomplete. It is not intended to delegitimize trans men.
Is there any way a translation to spanish could be done?, I would be interesting in providing one! (that's my native language), I also have coding skills if it helps

the game really shows how gender doesnt have to be what you dont want it to, it shows lots of emphasis on what **you** as someone, whoever you may be, are welcome to feel comfortable in whoever you are, and this game made me really happy, too <3 keep going guys, your gonna do amazing things
this game is cute, I love how maze-like it was, like the protagonist is stuck in endless cycles trying to find their gender, with the answer being so close, yet somehow out of reach. The only thing that made me not quite as immersed was that the game ran kinda shitty in some parts, but that's cause I've got a less powerful device so...
I'm glad that this game is still getting good ratings and reviews despite the ignorance of some people in the comments.

i noticed that once you walk into the first room with the pink and blue doors, the back wall will close in on you as you walk to the doors so the room becomes much smaller than it used to be. very nice little detail! i enjoyed it!

This game has some serious potential. An annoying thing was the music, it will loop with a large gap of silence after each one. The whole layout makes as much sense as you would think (obviously), but the overall coolness meter is 10/10

Great work! Gameplay mechanics are a bit of a dysphoria simulator, but at least it reflects the theme (don't believe a word, I am not a gamer).
But honestly, great idea. Love it! Will definitely come back to figure out how it works
