It's ok. I would like to see more of a knowledge database that links to certain terms for novice or amateurs alike when it comes to your home network. Just an example - what is NAT Fowarding and how to set up in correlation to TP Link Deco Model #.....users. Anyone can search the internet, but it would be better to have it right there in the app along with what TP Link recommends. Other than that, very useful and all-in-all, user friendly.

Overall, I am pleased with my TP-Link Deco. It was ready to install, set up, and connect to. I was able to get stronger internet connections in areas that used to be problematic. The only complaints are that sometimes, when I disconnect the internet to my son's gaming PC, he's still able to connect sometimes. Also, I have a camera at the far end of the house, on the ground level, that often times have connection issues. I would buy it again and recommend it to others.

I didn't originally install it to set up my mesh but did when my mesh stopped working. The app didn't provide any troubleshooting tips though. I figured out I needed to use the reset button then everything worked again. After everything was reconnected the app did tell me I needed an update to my firmware, but only after I opened the app. It wasn't a push notification - WHY? There is also no way to get a reminder to scan your system weekly. Again, why? Not sure why else this app is needed.
