Permissions needed for RightTrack users

● RightTrack uses foreground services to enhance user safety, ensure accurate trip recording, and provide valuable feedback to the user regarding their driving behavior. It's essential for detecting when you start a drive and to accurately log the route taken, driving behavior, and other relevant metrics.
● The service is activated when you begin driving. This is detected through user interaction with the app and/or automatic detection algorithms that recognize driving activity.
● RightTrack collects data such as speed, acceleration, braking, and route information, which are needed for assessing driving behavior and providing feedback for safer driving practices.

They have this thing called DriveWise that's supposed to keep track of your driving and get you a discount. First of all you should know that the app only tracks you for the first 125 miles fairly. After the first 125 me no matter how much you improve as a driver it will not reflect in your score. I have had zero hard braking events for almost a month and there is no reflection in my score whatsoever. However if you do anything outside the lines it's detracts from your score. Drive better? RightTrack stopped working. Worked well last year, but now that it has come time to renew my policy, RightTrack has begun tracking my driving again to calculate my discount. It is constantly prompting me to "fix my settings" to enable righttrack, but when I go to the settings, everything is enabled. What a mess.

Ok for getting a 10% discount, but don't expect much more even with high score. Right Track gives dubious advice on improving driving. Punishes "hard" braking severely and considers running a red light or stop sign preferable to slowing down. Did I really brake hard or did my phone just tip over in the cup holder? 🙄 Penalizes phone use (good) but doesn't factor if your passenger is navigating (bad). Doesn't track actually risky behavior such as cutting off, speeding, etc. Saps battery.
