Great biking loop starting from Rwakobo Rock Lodge, first going around the park, with a stop over at KM 42 at Kazuma Lookout where we had lunch, followed by 20K inside the park. Puncture repair kit necessary. Beware of b...
Lots of Hills! Enjoyable ride with a real 'outside of Kampala' feel. There is a stretch along the Express Way in the middle, but it has a cycle lane with plenty of space for cars to pass safely. Sections get you riding a...

Beautiful trail along Mt Elgon slopes with very steep ascents and descents, some of them not 'bikable' unfortunately.
Along the road through the forest and down to Nshanjara. From there a sometimes technical, often beautiful single track along the edge of the forest to Rushaga

Biking down the African rift... and ending at the shore of the lake watching the Blue Mountains of Congo
Windy route along small maram roads. One very steep tricky section, and a couple for larger maram roads that are a bit dusty, but nothing for very long.
Good Ride. Comfortable 2 hrs 30 mins at moderate pace. However.....there is about 2 to 3 KMs of walking and sometimes carrying the bike due to over growth in the low land areas near the swamps. But makes a great work out...
A 1,000m ascent from Mbale to the top of Wanale Ridge, up to a water fall overlooking the town at KM16. Beautiful. Nice to do early in the morning as the whole cliff is then in the shade. The descent is really enjoyable.
Starting from The Haven, going Southwards on narrow tracks, followed by sugar plantation, a shaded portion through Mabira Forest and back. Very nice and easy.
The first 33 KMs is great. Lots of single track and nice rural riding. The last 15 KM's is a mixture of murram and tarmac road, and quite dull. Still an enjoyable ride, but the entry into Kampala is a slog. There is a sw...
#CIA - good ride. First half not too strenuous or technical, option to ride in reverse but then expect traffic second half. At around 30k there is a downhill on a narrow trail along a fence that dead ends into a swamp an...
This is a mixed trail with lots of single track, green, and a few really tough climbs. The two hills at the 30k mark require some walking unless you have supehuman strength.
A very nice loop off the main roads south of Fort Portal, from Kluges Guest Farm to Ndali Lodge and back via a different route.
Starting from Rwakobo Rock Lodge, goes around the park to Lake Kachira and close to Mihingo Lodge before returning to Rwakobo on a shorter trail. Lots of wild life to be seen and great scenery as well as lots of... punct...
