The workshop participants were experienced leaders, consultants and executive coaches, facilitating organizational change in a global context.
Learning objectives: 1. Learn real-time facilitation and intervention techniques that shift the power of privilege in a group. 2. Explore through experiential learning ways of being that neither dominate, nor subordinate and lead to healthy, effective, socially and ecologically just groups, organizations, and communities. 3. Experience the multidimensional ways that privilege is present in Organization Development practitioners' and leaders' lives in relationships to clients, colleagues, employees and stakeholders in a global environment. Explore and understand an expanded conception of privilege (beyond race and gender in the U.S.) as a dynamic process that involves power dynamics related to structural inequality of many kinds.
