Do Not Post Wins on same night

[edit]

I noticed that someone posted the 2/21/09 fight decision, before we got to see the fight due to tape delay here in the states. That is a spoiler. I am going to delete it and then reverse it after the fight. MPA 04:27, 22 February 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by MPA (talkcontribs)

Please read WP:SPOILER. Reverted. --aktsu (t / c) 04:38, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that WP is referring to sports that are happening due to time delay. My understanding is that spoiler is not necessary because it's viewers already expect the facts to be presented. To allow the posting of a sports event, from over seas, hours before it is viewed in another country contributes to illicit gambling issues. If I know ahead of time that Team X will defeat Team Y, after calling my pal to look up the results on Wikipedia, I hold a clear and unfortunate advantage over the poor saps who aren't internet savvy. That can, and probably will contribute to possible retribution, up to including homicide, once the jig is up. Therefore until I receive some explicit notice from an WP official, I will temporarily delete prescribed tape delay sports results. If and when I am contacted, and if there are any criminal acts taken against anyone and it is found that WP information was involved, I will forward this pre-preemptive discussion to all authorities and media. 68.249.111.246 (talk) 19:07, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Huh, if you visit the WP article of someone who participated in a completed sporting event would you not expect to be presented the results? The UFC is not broadcast at all in Norway, so should I remove all results until the DVD is released to avoid people unaware of the Internet being killed? --aktsu (t / c) 20:15, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Losses

[edit]

If he has lost 4 in a row why hasn't he been kicked out of UFC? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lenosy (talkcontribs) 02:32, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
