Dan Marburger

[edit]

While tragic that he died because of a school shooting, they were not otherwise a noteworthy person. As principle of the school, it was his job to try to defuse the situation. But if you are going to list him, might as well list every person who died in an act of heroism and make the list unmanageable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8000:7800:6F8A:657F:ECBD:5891:6978 (talk) 21:49, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

He is only included because he is forward linked to the Perry High School shooting - whether he is ultimately notable is not for you or I to decide, unless either of us choose to create his own article (a slim prospect). As it stands, persons in his position are normally included in the list for one month to see if an article is or can be written about him - if he remains a redirect or is relegated to a redlink, then he will be removed after that (earlier sometimes, in the case of newly-formed redlinks). (Also, please post new messages here at the bottom.) Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 22:20, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dylan Butler has now been removed from the list per the stated one month criteria for redirects. Ref (chew)(do) 20:15, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
