Crazyhorse Mongoose is the second studio album by American jam band Galactic. It was released on September 1, 1998 through Capricorn Records. Recording sessions took place at Brilliant Studios in San Francisco on August 18—22, 1997 and at Greyboy Studios in San Diego. Production was handled by Dan Prothero and Galactic themselves.[1]

In the United States, the album peaked at number 38 on the Top Jazz Albums and number 24 on the Top Contemporary Jazz Albums charts.
