Hello! Now that the article has survived AfD and been moved, would you mind adding a couple references to the article? I would but I think you're better positioned! SportingFlyer T·C 16:07, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up. I am working on it. Paul H. (talk) 20:29, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! It should be good for now, so there's no hurry. SportingFlyer T·C 07:46, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Eocene vs Pliocene uplift of Sierra Nevada

edit

Hi, Paul. I wanted to invite you to look at Sierra Nevada#Geological history. An editor added material that claimed that "old" (e.g., Eocene) uplift of the Sierra Nevada was the established theory. My understanding is that Eocene vs Pliocene uplift is still an open issue (see, e.g., [1]). I attempted to balance the two competing hypotheses in the article.

I know that you did a lot of background research when you edited Table Mountain (Tuolumne County, California), so you're probably more familiar with the issue than I am. Did I capture the right balance, or should there be an emphasis on one or the other competing hypotheses? Please feel free to join in the editing. — hike395 (talk) 04:34, 14 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
