Help me!

edit

I want to translate this Help to Bosnian. What do I need to do to have correct css styling. I suppose key thing is but I then get this: "Sanitized CSS" for TemplateStyles (current model is "wikitekst").

I did copy the code in here: https://bs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomoć:Sadržaj/styles.css?venotify=created

And this is the start of my help page that is currently just on my user page: https://bs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korisnik:Mhare/Pomoć

Mhare (talk) 14:15, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I think you can fix this by renaming bs:Pomoć:Sadržaj/styles.css to bs:Šablon:Sadržaj/styles.css (the Template namespace) – Þjarkur (talk) 15:35, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Podvisoki (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added links pointing to SO, Modius and Podgrađe
Visoko (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)

Speedy deletion nomination of Pero Petrašević

edit

Hello Mhare,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pero Petrašević for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

aegeobalkanprehistory.net

edit

Hi Mhare. I'm concerned that the aegeobalkanprehistory.net links your might be WP:REFSPAM, links that do not verify anything added to promote a website. Because aegeobalkanprehistory.net is not easily searched, I'm unclear if there might be any specific pages in their website that would be actually verify the information you've been adding. Additionally, it's unclear if the website is a reliable source. Please respond. --Ronz (talk) 17:21, 4 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of ancient tribes in Illyria into Daesitiates. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 13:44, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Diannaa, I have provided the required template. I really did not know I need to provide attribution for copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Mhare (talk) 14:03, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
Many people don't! By the way, the template is optional; the main thing is to include an edit summary as to where you got the content. — Diannaa (talk) 14:04, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Requested copy edit of Kingdom of Bosnia

edit

Hi Mhare, I hope that I was able to help you on Kingdom of Bosnia. There were a few things I noticed that I was not able to fix as I am not an expert on the subject. In particular, details during the reign of Dabiša are a bit unclear to me. It seems like some facts might have been stated twice. Also, the order of events during the final Ottoman conquest was not completely clear, although I did not help by moving some details to there from the lead section. Regards, Tdslk (talk) 04:36, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tdslk, hi! Dabiša part could be rephrased differently, I read it this morning and even I've got sidetracked. As of ottoman conquest, maybe there was too much of it in the lead section, it belong more to the aftermath part. I will try to clear things up for part about the reign of Dabiša. Thank you very much for this. Mhare (talk) 08:36, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
You're welcome, I enjoyed learning a little bit of history I did not know about before! Tdslk (talk) 02:33, 18 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Church of St. Procopius

edit

Hi @Mhare, the last time I was in Visoko, they were working on a reconstruction of the church. Have they finished? This may be the old look. [1] Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 22:56, 21 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hey @Sadko. Yes, they have indeed [2], [3], but sadly there is no better picture available. Now that you have mentioned it, I might go and take couple of shots. I believe the best angle is this one. The photographer probably climbed up the relatively newly built Klisa road towards Visočica hill and took a picture. Hope you had a pleasant stay in Visoko! Mhare (talk) 07:39, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
It's looking very good! Thanks, that would be great. TBH the prevailing feeling was that the town is focusing more on alternative history (which is as fake as it comes) rather than the rich local Bosnian history, which is not to my liking, but what can you do. Aside from that - good people. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 15:15, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm kinda in Commons phase, so the first good weather and I'm out! Well, alternative history has become very lucrative business for some, aside of that I think there is over 100 properties on Booking.com alone. Mile and Old Town of Visoki should have been rebuilt at least 20 years ago, with some kind of medieval tour from Visoko to Čajangrad to Bobovac. As you said it, what can you do. At least we've had some great German archaeological teams who done some amazing work at Okolište. Which reminds me, I need to copy-edit that thing. Mhare (talk) 17:15, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
This church is National Monument, do we have article on it? Yes, I noticed that you are making some great pics, so wondered, it would be great if you could make few shots for all the National Monuments around the town and maybe even its surroundings, sometime in the future :-) By the way article on Visoko looks great.--౪ Santa ౪99° 21:03, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hey Santasa99. We do not have article on it, but we have version in couple of south slavic standards, so it's ripe for translating. Well, a couple of pictures of National Monument have been photographed by me dating back to 2006 (Mile). I have lost or broken several foto cameras unfortunately (one ended in river Bosna, other is somewhere in hills, third was lost during attempted small repair), and all I have left is camera phone. It can make decent picture when the lighting is OK, but it's nothing compared to Olympus XZ-2 that I had. So, regarding the monuments in the surroundings I would really like to have decent camera for that. St. Procopius is definitely going to be next photo, but I would also like to do one photo for Okolište, but I have no clue is it accessible, as it's in agricultural part of the municipality, land is private, so we'll see. As for the article, hm, honestly I've planned to do a lot of improvements, prepared the sources, and then my energy shifted to parts of Wikipedia editing that I don't particularly like, but it was quite important to stay on it, so yeah. I've seen you have made a lot more of contributions regarding the flora and fauna of Bosnia nad Herzegovina ;) Mhare (talk) 07:35, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
