Talk:Autotransfusion

When editing the section that dealt with religion, I came upon this line of text: "The graphic representation on the cover shows the circuit clearly, the blood goes from the patient through the autotransfusion process and back to the patient.". I removed the line, as it refers to nothing actually in the article here, but it looks a bit like this might have been directly lifted from another source (given the reference to a representation on the 'cover'). No reference is given for the section, so it is difficult to check up on. If it is a copyvio, it could bring into doubt the rest of the section. On investigation, it appears the author was asked directly to verify it was his own work (here), to which he answered that it was, so it's possible it was a copy-paste of his own material, and potentially not therefore a copy-vio. More investigation might be required, but I am not certain how best to proceed. Mouchoir le Souris (talk) 00:56, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The reference in question was written by me. it was copy and pasted from my own material. My original document included copyright graphics which could not be added to this wikipedia article. I am hoping to add graphics and photos in the near future. I hope this clarifys any copyright concerns. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DELCHERD (talkcontribs) 07:54, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
