Other tertiary-level diplomas: (from Auckland University) BA (Romance Languages) 1980; BSc (Physics and Mathematics double major) 1981; BE (Theoretical and Applied Mechanics) 1986. Various outside-diploma papers in Computer Science, environmental engineering, and Law, from Auckland and Otago Universities.

Other: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) course from Otago Polytechnic, certified by examination (Cisco Academy, 2004).

Currently studying law at Canterbury University - on hold till accommodation available, following earthquake this year.
