Yuu Ren is a major antagonist in the historical seinen anime and manga series, Kingdom. She is the hated archenemy of Kyou Kai after she murdered her adoptive older sister, Kyou Shou with underhanded tactics that were supposedly "forbidden" in clan's succession ritual and unfairly won title of the Shiyuu.
Appearance
A tall woman in her mid 20s, Yuu Ren had dark long, straight hair flowing that reached down to her back with some falling on her face. In terms of clothing, she wore the traditional attire of the Yuu tribe and covered her mouth and nose with a scarf decoctive with her tribe's red markings which hid small tattoos detailed around her mouth and chin.

Raised to be an assassin from birth, Yuu Ren was almost devoid of any sentiment as she was a dark and grim woman and showed her manipulative nature when she persuaded the rest of the other Shiyuu ritual contestants to combine their strength against Kyou Shou. After slowly going insane as Shiyuu, Yuu Ren showed her sadistic side as she mocked Kyou Shou for falling into her trap and took perverse pleasure in watching Kyou Kai fight and kill her tribe members as started to touch herself.
