Thomas Baker (Alaska)
Thomas Baker (Republican Party) (also known as Ikaaq) is a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 40. He assumed office on November 13, 2023. His current term ends on January 21, 2025.
Baker (Undeclared) is running for re-election to the Alaska House of Representatives to represent District 40. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the primary on August 20, 2024.
Governor Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Baker to Alaska House of Representatives District 40 on November 8, 2023, to replace Josiah Patkotak (independent).[1]
Biography
Thomas Baker was born in Alaska and lives in Kotzebue, Alaska. Baker earned a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College in 2017. His career experience includes working as a construction operations manager with Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation. Baker served on the Kotzebue City Council and the Native Village of Kotzebue Tribal Council.[2][3]
