Fair use rationale for Image:Nancywilson1.jpg

[edit]

Image:Nancywilson1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

A few minor problems

[edit]

-- Article says she was signed by Capitol Records in 1960. It appears from the discography that she continued recording for them, but the article says she was signed by Capitol in the late 1970s.

-- Her TV variety show aired from 1966 to 1968, and she won an Emmy for it in 1975? There is no listing in the Primetime Emmy article for best variety show for her show.

-- The only listing in the IMDB is for THE NANCY WILSON SHOW! (1966), which it calls a TV movie; it was on the BBC

-- "Lovingly adopted"? NPOV? I removed "lovingly." There are a few other places where fandom edges neutrality aside a little. :-) Tito john (talk) 08:02, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Nancy Wilson Show

[edit]

"Her TV variety show aired from 1966 to 1968, and she won an Emmy for it in 1975? There is no listing in the Primetime Emmy article for best variety show for her show."

The Nancy Wilson Show!

[edit]

The only listing in the IMDB is for THE NANCY WILSON SHOW! (1966), which it calls a TV movie; it was on the BBC. The Nancy Wilson listed in the credits is the same Nancy Wilson; for some reason, it doesn't appear in her filmography.

I think this error should be deleted.

Nancy Wilson discography

[edit]

Reply - Discography section is becoming long and should be split to a new article entitled Nancy Wilson discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 17:15, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Supper Club issue is unclear

[edit]

The page states "As a result of her marriage, she abstained from performing in various venues, such as supper clubs." But why? Is it that the supper clubs were racist? Or that they served alcohol? Without an explanation, this seems to raise more questions than it answers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:111A:1BC:2821:DAA6:A0CA:D83A (talk) 18:55, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
