It's rather odd that although the list of countries contains many UK territories, The United Kingdom (England Scotland Wales and N. Ireland) does not have any data

Inaccuracy

[edit]

While looking at a BBC article related to European birthrates (I don't know how to add a link here, but the link can be found in the Chemnitz article) I saw that the figures in the BBC article were different than those provided here. All I ask is that someone please revise the figures in the Wikipedia article to match those the BBC article. Thanks

Update

[edit]

Someone should update this list, as the CIA page has been updated. DMTsurel 20:37, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree.
I updated the list according to the figures given by the UN: http://unstats.un.org/unsd/cdb/cdb_years_on_top.asp?srID=13580&Ct1ID=&crID=&yrID=2010 I couldn't find The Seychelles on the list though.AtikuX 03:11, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It appears someone is reverting all the updates. Odd.AtikuX 04:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Western Sahara Case

[edit]

There no official flag to the Western Sahara region. The flag mentionned there is the one of the separatist Polisario Front backed in Tindouf camps south Algeria.--Moroccansahraoui (talk) 11:53, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bug in CIA ranking sort

[edit]

The reverse sorting of the CIA rank doesn't work. Even ignoring the problems of the "-" values, those with numbers sort as: ..., 111, 110, 11, 109, 108, ..., 101, 100, 10, 1

VC

[edit]

Why isn't Vatican City listed? It has a birth rate of 0% but still.... 174.20.150.137 (talk) 01:44, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. It would appear that none of the sources give a figure for VC, but why? Meanwhile I'm adding it to the "no data" list. It might be that the birth rate is indeed zero, but we still need a reliable source to tell us this. — Smjg (talk) 22:38, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
