Soviet Union's officially entered the WW2 in 1941?

[edit]

The article currently states that "The Soviet Union officially entered World War II on June 22, 1941" but the article on the Invasion of Poland currently states that "The invasion of Poland (1 September – 6 October 1939) was a joint attack on the Republic of Poland by Nazi Germany, the Slovak Republic, and the Soviet Union; which marked the beginning of World War II."

And the article on World War II's "War Breaks Out in Europe" section currently states that "On 17 September 1939, two days after signing a cease-fire with Japan, the Soviet Union invaded Poland"

Also, as far as I have read, the cited source does not present the June 22, 1941 date as the day the USSR "entered" the war. It should be amended. The Soviets entered the WW2 in an alliance with the Nazis just 16 days after their ally Nazis started the war 81.213.215.83 (talk) 05:42, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
