When Christine is a companion, she grants you a short period of time near a speaker before your bomb collar starts to activate as well as increasing the amount of time before your bomb collar detonates by 50%.— In-game description

Signal Interference is a companion perk in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Dead Money.

Requirements[]

Gaining Christine Royce as a companion requires completing Find Collar 12: Christine by rescuing her from the malfunctioning Auto-Doc inside the Villa clinic within the Medical District. This itself requires navigating past holograms and speakers to cut off the building's power in the clinic basement.

Effects[]

When Christine is an active companion, the player character gains a window of delay before their collar begins beeping (represented by a static noise sequence) when in range of any radio or speaker as well as a 50% increase to the duration of the beeping sequence before detonating.

Notes[]

The perk specifically grants an additional 5 seconds before the collar starts beeping and an additional 5 seconds before the collar detonates, overall increasing the total time one may spend near a radio or speaker from 10 to 20 seconds, an effective 100% increase.
