Very premature article. Qualification will not begin for another decade. What little information there is on this subject (That Qatar automatically qualifies), is sufficiently covered in 2022 FIFA World Cup. Jmount (talk) 12:28, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I'd have said 'speedy' but I can't think of one that fits. In that absence, per nom... Peridon (talk) 14:02, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Yeah, this could be deleted for several years. So could the 2018 version. Even 2012 is still pretty empty. -Koppapa (talk) 12:50, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Replace it with a redirect to 2022 FIFA World Cup; this prevents the red link brigade from trying to recreate the article. --Pretty Green (talk) 09:31, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- This AfD nomination was incomplete (missing step 3). It is listed now. DumbBOT (talk) 13:25, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Agree with the redirect idea. It's a semi-likely search-term and would do no harm being re-directed, and possibly locked, until the qualificaion gets underway proper. Lugnuts (talk) 17:35, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Redirect to 2022 FIFA World Cup; possible search term, might as well send readers to an article that is vaguely semi-useful (as useful as one can be when considering qualification for a tournament 12 years in the future). And as User:Pretty Green points out, stops people seeing a red-link and deciding to recreate it with the absolutely vital information that Qatar have qualified, but no one else will for another 10 years or so. - Chrism would like to hear from you 18:51, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Very unlikely as a search term, since one can write "2022 FIFA World Cup" on the way to writing "2022 FIFA World Cup qualification". As for the red links that might get left behind, edit it out of Template:FIFA World Cup in the same manner that it was edited in. Mandsford 22:51, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Redirect - searchable term, but not worthy of a seperate article yet. GiantSnowman 16:30, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect - It seems a resonable search term, but clearly not notable. It will be, but not yet. Sir Sputnik (talk) 03:37, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
