You have provided no evidence at all to sustain the claim that it is in the public domain, and the fact that it was watermarked strong indicates that it is actually under copyright. We don't even need an official confirmation from Hezbollah. We just need a confirmation from a neutral source. If you check the talk page of Nasrallah, the first "Extended Edit request" also explains why the IDF can be an unreliable source. We don't post "alleged" in the death section of a person who is deceased without solid evidence. This isn't unique in the case of Nasrallah or other politicians, it's the case for anyone who can't be confirmed dead and has other sources contradicting any other death statements. Global sources are reporting on what the IDF is claiming. In this case, it is not evidence and therefore remains as hearsay. It is hearsay until any evidence is presented. Also, in the case of Haniyeh, we did not report on him being "potentially dead" as, A) his death was swiftly reported and confirmed by both Iranian and outside sources and B) we waited until such information was available. As I said earlier, it doesn't matter if his death is "alleged" or not, as we wait until we officially say that he is dead. For now, this part (his alleged death) has been well documented in the article and needs no further clarification. However, you are welcome to expand on that part if you feel like some important details are missing. However, we do not post his "death date", "death location", etc without the required evidence. How is it that we have to wait on a confirmation from Hezbollah.. or even Hamas sometimes? They are designated Global Terrorist groups, their words mean nothing. That’s like asking Isis or Al Quada to confirm the deaths of someone from their insurgents, it’s ridiculous. It’s like asking Jeffrey Dahmer to confirm if he really was a carnibal… we already know. I never mentioned confirmation from Hezbollah or Hamas. I'm saying we should wait on a confirmation from an outside source that ISN'T the IDF. Plus, if Hezbollah/Hamas claim that Nasrallah is dead, what good does it do for them? However, I do agree they are not reliable sources but them confirming the death of their own leader is almost guaranteed to be true. It's like when the IDF is reporting on the death of one of their own commanders. It's something neither side wants to do, because it's against their own interest. However, in this case, not only are Iranian sources contradicting Israel's statement, I also specifically said that we should wait on a reliable, neutral source. So far, we don't know Nasrallah's status. I've gotten an administrator involved in this case because of the rampant rollbacks you keep doing (clearly ignoring the rule in effect), so please, await any further edits for now.
