I am the official Ship's Historian for the USS King (DLG-10/DDG-41) Association. It is my desire to contribute as much information to the topics that relate to the history of the USS King and the equipment that was used aboard her.

I served as a Fire Control Technician aboard her from 1986 to 1990. I operated and maintained the AN/SPG-55B radars and went on to teach that course for the United States Navy at the Naval Guided Missiles School in Dam Neck, VA from 1990 to 1993.
