Scheduling

[edit]

I would like to comment that the scheduling for the ALDS this year is absolutely horrendous. Games one and two of the A's-Twins series took place at 1:00p eastern, when nobody's home to watch the game. The Yankees begin at 4:00p eastern, when everyone gets home. Why is it that the Yanks can be watched and not the A's? Why can't you have two different channels broadcast the games simultaneously?

Hmmm, is the first year you have watched the playoffs, the Yankees always play in primetime, they actually play at 8 pm ET. That is how it has been as long as I can remember. Even most people aren't home to watch the 4 pm ET game. That is 1 pm on the west coast. I don't know why they feel the Yankees have to always be on. I personnaly think it turns a lot of people off since they can't watch their home town team play. The west coast must feel really cheated on the coverage, they have 3 teams in the playoffs and the A's have played both their games at 10 am on the west coast and the Padres and Dodgers Game 1 in their series were played at 1 pm on the west coast. They have played LCS games at the same time before, with one game being on Fox, and the other on either a Fox Sports affiliate. But I guess this whole thing is just another reason to "hate the Yankees" --Holderca1 16:01, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Game times

[edit]

Does anyone else think game times should stay up for future reference? --Zimbabweed 23:41, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dont think its necessary, It is too much clutter, and every other playoff page from previous years doesn't have them. I think we should be consistant with that. Garrett p 7 October 2006
