Md Ziaul Hoque OSP, afwc ndc, psc is a two-star admiral in Bangladesh Navy. He is the incumbent director general of the Bangladesh Coast Guard.[1] Prior to this appointment, he served Senior Directing Staff (Navy) at National Defence College.[2]

Early life and education

Hoque joined Bangladesh Navy in January 1989 in executive branch after completing his education from Sylhet Cadet College.

Military career

Hoque served as managing director of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation while he was Commodore.[3] On 29 September 2024, he appointed as Director General of Coast Guard under the ministry of Home Affairs.[4]
