The Prasada at 50 Central Park West in Manhattan, a luxury apartment house built between 1904 and 1907, and is a contributing building in the Central Park West Historic District. It cost $250,000 (the equivalent of more than $7 million in 2022). Originally, it contained only three luxury apartments per floor, an eight-room apartment at the rear and two ten-room apartments spanning the front, facing the Central Park. All the principal rooms throughout the building command an extended view of Central Park. Servants's rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, etc., were located facing the court. The building ranges round an open court, with stained-glass skylights that illuminate the lobby.
