- الكرمل (بالعبرية: כרמל) هي مستوطنة إسرائيلية في جنوب شرق منطقة هار الخليل في الضفة الغربية، بالقربة من قرية أم الخير، الذين استقروا هناك منذ عدة عقود بعد طرد الاحتلال لهم من الصحراء اراد، والذين اشتروا الأرض من سكان مدينة يطا الفسطينية. وفقا لديفيد شولمان، تقع الكرمل على أراض تم الاستيلاء عليها من البدو في تلك القرية. إنها يقع ضمن اختصاص مجلس هار حفرون الإقليمي ويرتبط أيديولوجياً بحركة مستوطنة الأمانة. في عام 2018 كان عدد سكانها 436. - Karmel (hebr. kerem-el, „Weinberg Gottes“; engl. Carmel) ist eine jüdische Siedlung im Westjordanland mit 401 Einwohnern (2016).1994 hatte Karmel 231 Einwohner. Die Siedlung wurde 1981 gegründet und liegt in der Region Hebron.Die Planungen der israelische Sperranlagen bis Februar 2005 sahen vor, dass der Ort durch den Verlauf der Sperranlagen auf israelischer Seite liegt. Seit Februar 2005 ist geplant, dass der Ort auf palästinensischer Seite liegen soll.Die Siedlung liegt zwei Kilometer nordöstlich der jüdischen Siedlung Ma'on und sieben Kilometer östlich des palästinensischen Ortes Yatta. Im Tanach ist der Ort auch bezeugt:
* Jos 15,55: In einer Städte-Aufzählung Judas kommt Karmel neben Ma'on vor.
* 1Sam 15,12: Saul richtet ein Siegzeichen/Denkmal in Karmel auf.
* 1Sam 25,2.5.7.40: In Karmel hat Nabal mit seiner Frau Abigajil seine Landwirtschaft, wobei er selbst in der benachbarten Siedlung Ma'on wohnt. Er verweigert Davids Leuten eine erbetene Unterstützung, woraufhin David Nabal und seine Leute töten will. Abigajil weiß das durch großzügige Geschenke zu verhindern. Gott tötet zehn Tage später Nabal und David nimmt sich Abigajil zur Frau. (de)
- Carmel (Hebrew: כרמל Karmel) is an Israeli settlement and Religious Moshav in the south-east Mount Hebron (Har Hevron in Hebrew) area of the West Bank, close to the Palestinian Bedouin from the village of Umm al-Kheir, who settled there several decades ago after Israel expelled them from the Arad desert, and who purchased the land from residents in the Palestinian village of Yatta. According to David Shulman, Carmel lies on lands appropriated from the Bedouin of that village. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Har Hevron Regional Council and associates ideologically with the Amana settlement movement. In 2019 it had a population of 437. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this. (en)
