- خاضت معركة( جوتي ديلي ) في 14 أكتوبر 1888م بين تحالف قوات (شيوان) في (رأس غوبانا داتشي) و حكم (أورومو) لقاء(نقامتي و مورودا بكري) و تحت حكم خليل الخزاني بالقرب من نيجو في منطقة ميراب و يليجا الحديثة م منطقة أورومبا في إثيوبيا. تم هزيمة وتمكن خليل و محمد حسن من فداسي الذي كان يقود فرقة بيلا شاتغول مه مجموعة ضغيرة من جنود أنصار وبيرتا من الفرار بنجاح من ساحة المعركة. تمثل هذه المشاركة العلامة المائية العالية للنشاط المهدي في ماهو الآن جنوب غرب إثيوبيا على الرغم من الغارات على مدار العامين المقبلين، توقف الحاكم المحليون غرب (ليجا نقامتي) مثل عبد الرحمن خوجالي من قابش ، عن تكريم أم درمان عاصمة المهدية و تجاهل الإستدعاء لتقديم نفسهم هناك علاوة على ذلك رأس جوبانا في ذلك الوقت الملك (منليك الثاني) من شيوا من الإستمرار في توسيع نفوذه إلى المنطقة جنوب نهر أباي و التي أعقبت هزيمة (ميلنيك و جوبينا) لجيش (جوجيم) قبل ست سنوات في (معركة إمبابو). - The Battle of Guté Dili was fought on 14 October 1888 between an alliance of the Shewan forces of Ras Gobana Dacche and Mahdist forces under governor Khalil al-Khuzani near Nejo in the modern Mirab Welega Zone of the Oromia Region, Ethiopia. The Mahdist forces were routed, and only Khalil and Muhammad Hassan of Fadasi, who was leading the Bela Shangul contingent, with a small group of Ansar and Berta soldiers, were able to successfully flee the battlefield. This engagement represents the high water mark of Mahdist activity in what is now southwestern Ethiopia. Despite raids over the next two years, local rulers west of Lega Naqamte, such as of , stopped paying tribute to Omdurman (the Mahdist capital) and ignored summons to present themselves there. Further, Ras Gobana's master, (then) king Menelik II of Shewa was able to continue extending his influence into the area south of the Abay River, which followed Menelik and Gobena's defeat of the Gojjame army six years earlier in the Battle of Embabo. Cet affrontement est l'unique de la guerre éthio-mahdiste à se dérouler loin de la région de Metemma. Il voit la victoire du général de Menelik II, le ras Gobena Dachi.
