- 79. mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji se konalo od 1. do 17. května 2015. Pořadatelskou zemí bylo Česko. Rozhodl o tom kongres IIHF v Kolíně nad Rýnem 21. května 2010. Turnaj se odehrával v Praze a Ostravě. MS se v Praze pořádalo už po desáté (1933, 1938, 1947, 1959, 1972, 1978, 1985, 1992, 2004), v Ostravě potřetí (1959, 2004). Turnaje se zúčastnilo celkem 16 týmů, 14 nejlepších z minulého mistrovství a 2 postupující z minulého ročníku skupiny A divize 1 - Slovinsko a Rakousko. Šampionát vyhrála Kanada, která vstřelila soupeřům celkem 66 branek. Kanada zároveň získala speciální prémii milion franků za to, že na turnaji vyhrála všechny zápasy v základní hrací době. Druhé místo obsadilo Rusko a třetí USA. Český tým skončil, stejně jako na MS 2014 v Minsku, čtvrtý. (cs)
- The 2015 IIHF World Championship was the 79th event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), held from 1–17 May 2015 in Prague and Ostrava, Czech Republic. It broke the historical attendance record of IIHF World Championships. Canada won their 25th title by defeating Russia 6–1 in the championship final game. Canada went undefeated at the tournament to win its first IIHF championship since 2007. With the win, Canadian captain Sidney Crosby became a member of the Triple Gold Club and the first to be the team captain for all three events. For winning all of its tournament games in regulation, the Canadian team earned the new Infront Team Jackpot award of one million Swiss francs. The Russians on the other hand were fined 80,000 CHF for most Russian players walking out from the medal ceremony before the Canadian anthem was played after the final game. The United States won the bronze medal, defeating Czech Republic 3–0 in the bronze medal final game. Czech player Jaromír Jágr (at 43 years of age) was the MVP of the tournament, and announced his retirement from international competition afterwards. (en)
- El LXXIX Campeonato Mundial de Hockey sobre Hielo Masculino se celebró en la Praga y Ostrava (República Checa) entre el 1 y el 17 de mayo de 2015 bajo la organización de la Federación Internacional de Hockey sobre Hielo (IIHF) y la Federación Checa de Hockey sobre Hielo. Un total de 16 selecciones nacionales compitieron por el título mundial, cuyo anterior portador era el equipo de Rusia, vencedor del Mundial de 2014. El equipo de Canadá conquistó el título mundial al derrotar en la final a la selección de Rusia con un marcador de 6-1. - Чемпионат мира по хоккею с шайбой 2015 — 79-й по счёту чемпионат мира, который прошёл в Чехии: в Праге и Остраве с 1 по 17 мая 2015 года. Такое решение было принято 21 мая 2010 года на конгрессе Международной федерации хоккея с шайбой, который проходил в Кёльне (Германия). По рейтингу ИИХФ, составленному после этого чемпионата, были определены 8 сборных, которые попали на хоккейный турнир Олимпиады-2018, а также были составлены группы для проведения квалификации на Олимпиаду. Сборная Канады стала в 25-й раз чемпионом мира, разгромив в финале сборную России со счётом 6:1. Канадская команда одержала победы во всех десяти матчах турнира, что принесло ей денежный приз «Infront Team Jackpot» в размере одного миллиона швейцарских франков. Бронзовые медали завоевала сборная США, обыгравшая в матче за 3-е место хозяев чемпионата сборную Чехии со счётом 3:0. Нападающий сборной Чехии Яромир Ягр стал самым великовозрастным (43) обладателем приза самому ценному игроку турнира (MVP). Лучшим бомбардиром по системе гол плюс пас стал канадец Джейсон Спецца (14 очков). Чемпионат установил новый рекорд посещаемости чемпионатов мира: игры турнира посетили 741 700 зрителей, средняя посещаемость составила 11 589 зрителей за игру. (ru)

- 79. mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji se konalo od 1. do 17. května 2015. Pořadatelskou zemí bylo Česko. Rozhodl o tom kongres IIHF v Kolíně nad Rýnem 21. května 2010. Turnaj se odehrával v Praze a Ostravě. MS se v Praze pořádalo už po desáté (1933, 1938, 1947, 1959, 1972, 1978, 1985, 1992, 2004), v Ostravě potřetí (1959, 2004). Turnaje se zúčastnilo celkem 16 týmů, 14 nejlepších z minulého mistrovství a 2 postupující z minulého ročníku skupiny A divize 1 - Slovinsko a Rakousko. (cs)
- The 2015 IIHF World Championship was the 79th event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), held from 1–17 May 2015 in Prague and Ostrava, Czech Republic. It broke the historical attendance record of IIHF World Championships. The United States won the bronze medal, defeating Czech Republic 3–0 in the bronze medal final game. Czech player Jaromír Jágr (at 43 years of age) was the MVP of the tournament, and announced his retirement from international competition afterwards. (en)
- El LXXIX Campeonato Mundial de Hockey sobre Hielo Masculino se celebró en la Praga y Ostrava (República Checa) entre el 1 y el 17 de mayo de 2015 bajo la organización de la Federación Internacional de Hockey sobre Hielo (IIHF) y la Federación Checa de Hockey sobre Hielo. Un total de 16 selecciones nacionales compitieron por el título mundial, cuyo anterior portador era el equipo de Rusia, vencedor del Mundial de 2014. (es)
