- Dne 30. června roku 2007 byl na letišti v Glasgow ve Skotsku (správní oblast Renfrewshire) proveden teroristický útok pomocí tmavě zeleného vozu , kterým pachatelé projeli skrz skleněný hlavní vchod do areálu letiště, kde nastala exploze a automobil začal hořet. Dva pachatelé, oba jihoasijského původu, byli popáleni, z toho jeden z nich byl v kritickém stavu převezen do nemocnice v Paisley, kde nakonec zemřel; další čtyři lidé byli ošetřeni. Letiště bylo uzavřeno do 1. července a pět osob bylo zatčeno v souvislosti s útokem. V zemi byl po tomto incidentu, který následoval po objevení teroristického materiálu v Londýně, vyhlášen nejvyšší stupeň ohrožení. Dva týdny před touto událostí varovaly Spojené státy Spojené království a Česko o možném útoku v Glasgow a Praze. (cs)

- The Glasgow Airport attack was a terrorist ramming attack which occurred on 30 June 2007, at 15:11 BST, when a dark green Jeep Cherokee loaded with propane canisters was driven at the glass doors of the Glasgow Airport terminal and set ablaze. The car's driver was severely burnt in the ensuing fire, and five members of the public were injured, none seriously. Some injuries were sustained by those assisting the police in detaining the occupants. A close link was quickly established to the 2007 London car bombs the previous day. Both of the car's occupants were apprehended at the scene. Within three days, Scotland Yard had confirmed that eight people had been taken into custody in connection with this incident and that in London. Police identified the two men as Bilal Abdullah, a British-born, Muslim doctor of Iraqi descent working at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, and Kafeel Ahmed, also known as Khalid Ahmed, an Indian-born engineer and the driver, who was treated for fatal burns at the same hospital. The newspaper The Australian alleged that a suicide note indicated that the two had intended to die in the attack. Kafeel Ahmed died from his injuries on 2 August. Bilal Abdullah was later found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 32 years. The attack was the first terrorist incident to take place in Scotland since the Lockerbie bombing in 1988. It also took place three days after the appointment of Scottish MP Gordon Brown as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, but Downing Street dismissed suggestions of a connection. (en)

Este suceso se trató de un fallido ataque terrorista en donde pilotes de seguridad impidieron que el automóvil entrara a la terminal llena de gente. El auto ardió en llamas, lo cual causó quemaduras graves a uno de los atacantes y provocó a una explosión limitada. Cinco personas que se encontraban en ese momento en la zona resultaron heridas, pero ninguno de gravedad. Uniemożliwiło to wjechanie w zaludniony terminal. Samochód stanął w płomieniach, podpalając jednego z atakujących i powodując później pomniejszą eksplozję. Pięć osób zostało rannych, żadna poważnie. Wszystkie zostały zabrane do szpitala Royal Alexandra. Scotland Yard potwierdził wzięcie czterech osób na przesłuchanie w związku z zamachem. (pl)
- Attacken mot Glasgow International Airport 2007 (engelska: 2007 Glasgow Airport attack) inträffade lördagen den 30 juni 2007 klockan 15:11 då islamister i en mörkgrön fyrhjulsdriven stadsjeep av typen , riggad som en bilbomb, körde in i glasdörrarna vid Glasgow International Airports huvudterminal i Skottland och utlöste sin sprängladdning. Bilen fattade eld och polisman Ferguson rusade fram med släcka elden och sprutade även på en av attentatsmännen för att stoppa deras angrep på en kollega. Andra poliser på plats och allmänheten angrep attentatsmännen med knytnävsslag och satte handfängsel på dem. En av attentatsmännen fick kraftiga brännskador och fem andra skadades lindrigt. Alla togs till . Scotland Yard bekräftade kort därefter att fyra personer hade tagits i förvar i samband med attentatet.
