    Talks about #code #architecture #cloud

It was so much fun being a speaker at the Windy City DevFest here in Chicago, USA at Google! 😎🥳 Thank you SO much to the organizers Joel Vasallo and Dan Baran for having me and giving me the chance to deliver my talk "The Building Blocks of GenAI" to such a warm and interested crowd and thank you Google for hosting such an amazing event! The Chicago commmunity force is strong!!! And your event is 🔥 🔥 🔥 ! And btw the food was AMAZING! That salad and turkey breast sandwich was everything!! 😋 😋 It was also a huge pleasure meeting some of you from the AWS User Group Chicago too! Keep nurturing that community and helping each other and others in your journey through your tech careers. 🤗 I have to admit that due to too much holiday food in July that I'm still recovering from I skipped trying a proper Chicago pizza and will stay wondering if it's that much different from that cheap microwavable Chicago mini-pizza thing they sell in the UK till a next time (my money is on yes 😆). Shout out to my colleague Nathan Peck who did an awesome talk! We only realized that we didn't take a selfie together after the day was over doh! Keep on coding, everyone! 🤗

I had the privilege of attending both the Windy City DevFest and AI Gathering, which were hosted at Google. Let me tell you, 12 hours fly by when you're engaged in discussions with so many brilliant people. It was a pleasure to get to know the attendees and learn about the incredible projects and experiments they're working on. One thing that is becoming increasingly apparent is the need for companies to experiment with AI, especially when the end use case is not clear. Companies can no longer afford to say, "We know AI can be useful, but we're not sure how it can help us." The answer lies in experimentation! Yesterday, Google showcased some impressive tools designed to assist developers in doing just that. Experimenting with AI is becoming cheaper and easier. Now is the time to start working on a proof of concept. If you or your company are uncertain about how to begin experimenting with AI, please reach out. I would be more than happy to assist. #WindyCityDevFest #TechCommunity #ChicagoTech #GoogleAI #DeveloperCommunity #AI

Yesterday, I had a fun time attending Windy City DevFest at the Google Chicago office. It was a day full of AI integration into our day-to-day life. I enjoyed the talks by Jeffrey W., “How Best to Learn from a Robot,” “Integrating AI into Google Workspace Solutions” by Charles Maxson and “From Bug Fixes to Bug Bounties: Transitioning from Developer to Ethical Hacker” by Ramandeep Singh Bhai. Also, I had the privilege to attend the following event, “AI Gatherings,” where all the amazing and innovative founders pitched their companies in under 60 seconds. #google #windycitydevfest

The Windy City DevFest Google was an incredible blast! 🌪️ I have so many new insights and insights from this that, to be honest, I'm still processing everything. I have a whole new appreciation for the Tech industry after attending the electrifying event at Google ‘s Chicago campus. However, this post isn't about all the tech knowledge I gained. Nope, this one is all about appreciating some of the outstanding minds I've had the privilege of learning with. Mark Panthofer ‘s first up, wow! His talk on DevOps and Platform Engineering changed the game. Who would have thought that creating the proper infrastructure might alter a developer's daily life in such a significant way? I felt strongly motivated to learn more about this subject because Mark explained everything so clearly. Next was a talk by Vikram Tiwari Getting around the complex world of GenAI metrics? To put it very simply, my mind was working overtime to process all the information he was delivering. The speed at which AI is developing is amazing, and Vikram's insights into the challenges involved in evaluating these models were fascinating. And Mary Grygleski , how could I forget her? Her talk on generative artificial intelligence was a master class in simplifying difficult ideas. Terms like LLMs, NLP, and Vector Search generally make my head spin, but Mary made them seem understandable and even enjoyable. Her talk was a helpful reminder that, in an environment that is changing quickly, maintaining one's curiosity and desire to learn is essential. All in all, it was a fantastic day full of learning and networking with some of the most brilliant minds in technology. I am really grateful to all of the presenters who shared their knowledge and to the organizers for creating such an amazing event. I also want to appreciate the host of this amazing and well-organized event Junnet Ali, Thank you for bringing all of us together. Met lots of tech-savvy minds, Neha Bhatia Carlos Degollado Bhavikk Shah Nathan Peck Hasnain Khan #WindyCityDevFest #PlatformEngineering #GenerativeAI #TechBuzz

What an amazing experience at this year’s Windy City DevFest! A huge shoutout to Google Developer Groups (GDG) for organizing such an inspiring event. It was a pleasure connecting with so many talented individuals and tech enthusiasts— the room was buzzing with energy and innovation! “Fireside chat with Logan Kilpatrick, PM of Google AI Studio!” 🔥 Logan shared valuable insights on the AI roadmap and the future of AI Studio, while skillfully addressing questions from an engaged . The enthusiasm in the room was truly infectious! The event showcased a diverse array of skills across various domains in software development, but the standout theme for me was the focus on AI capabilities! 🤖 It's incredible to see how AI is taking the spotlight, and some of today’s sessions were truly mind-blowing. The ease and advancement of integrating AI into apps today is simply astonishing! Special thanks to the organizers and sponsors, including Google, nvisia, and TAG - The Aspen Group , for making this event possible. A huge shoutout to the superb GDG organizers , as well as the amazing Google team for their dedication to the Chicago tech community!
