eBay's Q4 & Full Year 2023 Financials https://lnkd.in/gmCB6j5X eBay remains a powerful name in #ecommerce, highlighting that they don't need to invest heavily in costly ads due to their well-known brand driving organic traffic. ☑ Q4 Revenue hit $2.6 billion, up a bit from last year. ☑ Full Year Revenue reached $10.1 billion, growing nicely! ☑ Ads on eBay are booming – they brought in $368 million just in Q4! ☑ Special item sales (like motor parts, refurbished electronics, luxury watches, and collectible sneakers) have grown almost 4% this year. 🛡 The strategy: pivoting towards "ecommerce for enthusiasts," with an emphasis on programs like refurbished items. eBay, rather than competing directly with marketplaces focused on mass-market products, positions itself as the go-to destination for unique items. They have also increased their advertising revenue, which could be a concern for sellers; without investing in ads, it's becoming increasingly difficult to get products noticed by buyers. ▶▶▶ "We really have a differentiated strategy, with what we’re doing with our focus categories and going after non-new in season, for the business. And years ago, we really moved away from the low ASP, low quality items on our marketplace." ▶▶▶ "And that hasn’t been a focus for us for many years now. So I think, that’s the first key differentiation I’d call out. The second is that, obviously some of the competition is spending a lot of money from a marketing standpoint in the marketplace. But one of the great benefits of eBay, is just the vast amount of organic traffic we have. I've said it before, I'll say it again, eBay is the king of reCommerce! Moves like this show a strategic re-alignment back to the core. Great move eBay!! This particular strategy looks like a long-game move by embedding a QR code at the front of the entire line. But over time, habits evolve, and scanning this QR code to list your item on eBay "Automatically" will become the norm. For the second year in a row Cookgroups scored all the tix in Australia and the whole fiasco was in the news. again again again. Please call us.  What does this all mean? Well, fans keep chasing the hottest products out there. Vinyls, plushies, sauces, cards, cars and gaming. There is certainly heat 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
