Tutored by Teachers is proud to partner with Denver Public Schools to support their diverse and growing student body. During the SY 23-24, we provided Math and ELA tutoring to over 800 students across 11 schools, including bilingual support in their Transitional Native Language Instruction (TNLI) programs. The results speak for themselves! Tutored students outperformed their peers, growing 8 points more on the Renaissance STAR Math Assessment. Spanish-speaking students receiving Math tutoring in their native language outpaced their peers by an impressive 14 points. We’re thrilled to continue empowering students in Denver! On average, 9,500 students engaged in 10 hours of high-dosage tutoring with Tutored by Teachers at Indianapolis Public Schools and saw gains in ELA and Math. Throughout the engagement, tutored students scored 14 points higher in Math and 12 points higher in ELA on the ILEARN state assessment. These remarkable figures, presented by TbT to the Indianapolis Public Schools School Board, generated a lot of enthusiasm among the School Board members. We’re thrilled to be back in Nashville for the 2024-2025 school year, continuing our partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS). In 2023-2024 we delivered personalized virtual instruction to high-need students across 48 schools, benefiting 3,500 students.
