Talent Development professional acting as a bridge between Asia and Europe. Experience in corporate, consulting and coaching. Passionate by blue, education, women empowerment, craft, wellness at work & exploring AI
I am doing one of the most difficult things in my life: DARE TO ASK I am not doing it just for myself, but mostly for a little girl who will soon be 8 years old, whom I embarked on this crazy adventure with me 5 months ago: to go to the other side of the world with our suitcases... A few months ago, I made the choice to return to China after five years in France. I missed China too much... And I wanted Choma to discover this country that I love so much. I wanted her to understand the more than 20 years we have lived here. I wanted her to have memories here. And... she is so happy here that I want to do everything I can for us to stay here, in Shanghai. So, here it is: I am looking for consulting missions to help companies create or improve their training processes here in Shanghai. With my profile and entrepreneurial experience, I am also open to full-time jobs related to talent development, education, preservation of traditional crafts, or well-being. I should mention that I already have a work visa and working permit. I always keep in mind the motto "Don't chase, Attract." But to "attract," people need to know what we want. To let them know what I am looking for... To be clear. So, I am taking advantage of this professional network to share my message. Isn't that what LinkedIn is for? So, if you are a GM, HR person in Shanghai, or if you know someone who knows someone, I am all ears! Thank you in advance for any help you can give me 🙏 Have a sunny weekend! • • • Elodie is back, more motivated than ever!!! Erasmus Mundus Scholar - Master in Leisure, Events and Sports Management | Corporate Communication Manager
🌍 Are Borders Limiting Our Talent Pool? 🌍 In today's globalized world, borders still pose challenges for young, talented professionals seeking dream jobs abroad. Companies and sports clubs often choose local candidates to avoid complex international hiring procedures. But is this approach causing them to miss out on exceptional talent? International candidates bring fresh perspectives and diverse skills, essential for innovation and growth. While hiring them involves additional steps, the long-term benefits can far outweigh the initial effort. I hope this situation becomes easier for both sides in the future. Simplifying international hiring processes and supporting a truly inclusive workforce can make a significant difference. #GlobalTalent #InclusiveWorkplace #Diversity #CareerOpportunities

From China as a Scholar at age of 17, being in SG for 23 yrs/ With 100 Real Recommendations on Linkedin/💪Bilingual Fitness Franchise & Licensing Consultant/📱WeChat,Tiktok Marketing Expert/🎤 Keynote Speaker 🗣️
Prior to 2020, I had never officially used LinkedIn and had no idea how powerful it was; I had an account but had forgotten the password. In March 2020, I attended a two-week conference in Los Angeles. It was during this conference that I learned about the superpower of LinkedIn because the head office of my previous company invited a LinkedIn guru to provide me with a three-day class. 🚀 Upon returning to Singapore, I found the entire city shut down and my company in chaos. At that time, there were about 400-500 people in the headquarters, and I was the only Asian Sales Director based in Singapore managing Asia. 💼🌏 Following the city's closure, managing two very young children at home proved to be quite challenging. After a few weeks, once the children were settled, I began focusing on my LinkedIn profile. 💻👨💼 I soon realized that, aside from learning English since I was young in China, investing in LinkedIn provided the highest return on investment in my career life. Every job offer, coffee with CEOs, headhunt, consulting job, and speaking opportunity, both domestic and foreign, came to me through LinkedIn. If you're interested, I can write another post detailing these experiences and opportunities. 📈💼 In any case, I hope none of you will find yourselves in the same situation I was in before 2020. It's essential to update your LinkedIn properly and build a strong personal brand. 🌟" #LinkedInSuccess #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerJourney #NetworkingPower #PersonalBranding #CareerDevelopment #JobOpportunities #LinkedInTips #NetworkingCommunity #JobSearchSuccess

"If you are over 30 and need to ask someone to check your CV and have no experience in management, you're a failure" This is not my opinion, but something I read on LinkedIn. A post which went viral in the Vietnamese LinkedIn community and triggered many discussions. While I do not agree with the author's opinion, I do understand where it stems from: The market in Vietnam is not like Europe where candidates drive it. In Vietnam, millions of young people graduate every year and there are about 1025 applications on one open position (Source: careerviet.vn)! So imagine the ongoing competition for graduates only! If you're a middle age professional, seeking a specialist position, what are the odds you will land the role you've dreamed of? The ideal career path in #Vietnam is to graduate with a Masters at 24, climb the ladder until you're 30, ideally having a manager position until then. And then you can switch to another company by being sourced by recruiters. You're a failure if your value is not recognized by headhunters. What's my view on this? I understand why many Vietnamese professionals #relocate to another country to study again or find work. It's the mindset and market that makes people want to leave their home country. And still, #recruiters are still complaining about finding the right talent 🤯 What's your take on this?
